2. Twist the two duplets together
to make a four balloon cluster.
You will need to make a total of
13 clusters inflated to the size
below. (Helpful Tip: Over inflate
your latex balloons and let out air
until they are to the desired size.
This allows for an increase in
temperature without the balloon
popping.) Inflate the following
four balloon clusters with the 11"
Orange latex.
3 clusters - sized to 71/2"
2 clusters - sized to 8"
2 clusters - sized to 8 1/2"
2 clusters - sized to 9"
2 clusters - sized to 9 1/2"
2 clusters - sized to 10"
3. Place conduit pole on base
plate.
4. Start at the bottom of the pole
by twisting the two 10" four
balloon clusters onto the pole,
one at a time.
5. Work your way up the pole,
adding clusters from largest
balloons at the base to smallest
balloons at top as shown in
picture. Make sure to turn each
cluster slightly so the balloons
are packed tightly together.
Frond
1. Air inflate four Green Palm
Fronds. Tie fronds together with
an uninflated 350Q, making sure
to tie under the valve so that it
does not get damaged.
2. Place the palm fronds on top
of the trunk, pull the 350Q down
and around three clusters of the
trunk, tie the 350Q into a knot to
hold the plam fromds in place.
Arrange the palm fronds in
between each of the balloons in
the top cluster, positioning them
downward.
3. Helium inflate five Green Palm
Fronds. Tie fronds together with
a uninflated 350Q, making sure
to tie under the valve so that it
does not get damaged.
4. Place the palm fronds on top
of the trunk, pull the 350Q down
and around three clusters of the
trunk, tie the 350Q into a knot to
hold the palm fronds in place.
Arrange the palm fronds as
shown.
CREATIVE IDEA: Create the tree
trunk out of white latex with silver
fronds. Shine colored lights on
the tree to change color and add
a dramatic effect.
